Piano-e-Competition is an international competition of pianists held in Sundin Music Hall at Hamline University in Minneapolis (USA), with eight judges. This year seven defendants in the American city, while the eighth (Yefim Bronfman) Analyse competitors from Hamamatsu, Japan. The means to evaluate everyone will be there, as the judge-and, as it was defined by its own employees, will be sitting in the headquarters of Yamaha in front of a Yamaha Disklavier Pro, a piano that can be played remotely by electronic connection. The Yamaha which sponsors the event has also made available to the judge a video transmission in real time to observe the same competitors at work. The Disklavier is in fact able to analyze and store all keys and pedals, through dedicated fiber-optic sensors, recording it or transmitting it to another machine counterpart. Bronfman will thus be able to not interrupt his tour in Korea and Japan, and will see the performance with a delay of thirty minutes, this is in fact the time required to download through Internet.
