It only comes in black and white now, but they’ll make it soon in color…I felt so old and out of it with this young whiz guy right there who helped invent it.”

Inaugurated on April 12 at the Center Candiani in Mestre (Venice), the seventh edition of Opera Totale , the annual festival of electronic arts and cultures directed by Maria Grazia Mattei. This year's edition includes a public meeting with the Visual Futurist Syd Mead, designer of Los Angeles, designer for films such as Blade Runner, Tron, Alien and Johnny Mnemonic, in addition to the conference 'Existenz' with Derrick De Kerchove of the McLuhan Program Toronto (Canada), Franco 'Bifo' Berardi, Michele Rancuba Riccini and Alessandro Ricci. A focus was also reserved for the standard flash, with the conference 'Flashforum' organized by Flasher.it, attended by Bruno Bozzetto, Stewart McBride of the festival Flashforward (see Flashforward 2002 festival flash digerati. , Vladivir Mijatovic, Mirco Pasqualini, Simone Biffi, Mauro Arrighi, James Green and Alberto Cecchi.
