Opened by a passage from 'Invisible Cities' by Italo Calvino, sonicPersephone is a work of flash.art of California Christina McPhee, who between dark and nebulous animations, and sound loops in the middle between the horror and avant-garde classical, search to describe the light and matter through abstract colors, shapes collage ethereal and phrases whose letters are aligned in a legible manner only for a moment, spinning and disappearing into the rest of the work to emphasize the immateriality and the elusiveness of the theme. The clicks are used to make stable phrases, isolating them from the rest, and subjecting the sensations to a mild attack of instability brought by the different media in action on their subconscious.
