Today it is presented in Prague (Czech Republic) Desert Rain , an installation made ​​possible thanks to a collaboration between the group Blast Theory and the Communications Research Group at Nottingham University. The job is received by six people at a time, that after leaving their belongings and wearing the black jackets are accompanied in a completely dark space and equipped with a magnetic card belonging to the person to find. When they come out they have a screen in front with the image of a virtual world and they are in a motel room American. The world is navigable, and come out from the motel in a fence that exceeded carries from day to night and makes access to a desert landscape. In the next twenty minutes the visitors should meet and exchange information to try to carry out their task, overcoming the obstacles put up by performers and by fragments of the Gulf War. The final hurdle is a room where there are huge numbers refer to Iraqi victims of the conflict and only managed to avoid them all together and you're you reach the last room. Inside the card that came through at the beginning of the monitors are activated attrverso where different types of people (a soldier, a journalist, a pacifist, an actor and a passive spectator) tell how the war has changed their lives, not just talking of their relations with the event, but also how it has been perceived as 'real'.
