Kingdom of Piracy is a study and an online exhibition of works especially looking at piracy as a form of ultimate net.art. The project is developed within ArtFuture 2002 event taking place in Taiwan and is hosted nell'Acer Digital Art Center [ADAC], and was launched yesterday. The curators have therefore initiated a process of committee work and writing essays that will persist over the next three months. Two projects have already been outlined: 'Hall of Fame' of Beige Vs. Rsg, who isolated the abbreviations of some crew cracker video games for the Commodore 64, and 'stealth waltz' Mukul Patel & Manu Luksch, in which the user must find a couple of hidden files on a web site, and that once played simultaneously give rise to a waltz that reveals encrypted images.
