I said that once some man had been calling me a lot wanting to give me one, but that I’d never called him back or something, and then the kid looked up and said, ‘Yeah, that was me. I’m Steve Jobs.’ And he looked so young, like a college guy. And he told me that he would still send me one now. And then he gave me a lesson on drawing with it. It only comes in black and white now, but they’ll make it soon in color…I felt so old and out of it with this young whiz guy right there who helped invent it.”
Harsh Noise Wally, is a sophisticated mashup mixing strips of Wally, the lazy and cynic colleague of Dilbert with some epic noise music extreme attitudes. Well conceived and assembled.

Is in progress at the New Zealand Film Archive in Wellington, New Zealand, :: contagion :: , an exhibition of Australian new media art curated by Linda Wallace, which brings together the works of 25 artists. The construction techniques ranging from video to the web, to cd-rom. Among the video there are works of Ian Andrews, Patricia Piccinini, Richard Grant, Emil Goh, Vivienne Dadour and the same Wallace. In the web were collected work antimedia site (and their boundaries travalicazione), Gary Foley ('Koori history'), Gary Zebington (verbal perception, image), Komninos Zervos ('Childhood in Richmond' quicktime video) seo (dynamic errors), alias frequencies (audio-visual music), Zina Kaye mr + snow + Caleb.K ('the audible' audio art), MEZ (word art), Melinda Rackham (identity, avatars) and two CDs -rom Matthew Riley and Michael Barker. It will last until November 18.
