I’m Steve Jobs.’ And he looked so young, like a college guy. And he told me that he would still send me one now. And then he gave me a lesson on drawing with it. It only comes in black and white now, but they’ll make it soon in color…I felt so old and out of it with this young whiz guy right there who helped invent it.”

Wee (32mm, slightly more than half of a CD by three inches) and capable of holding up to 11 hours of music in a compressed format, the DataPlay is a new format of CDs, developed in a consortium with InterTrust Technologies, one of the largest producers of software for the management of digital copyright. Manufactured in sizes 250 or 500 Mbytes, it should cost about 10 dollars a piece and adjustable in size according to InterTrust should solve the problem of piracy due to its incopiabilità.
