Fijuu, improvisation of shapes and sounds.

At the base there is a musical dell'improvvisazine virtuous use of the instruments, which frees the possibilities enforceable through a manipulation of the object and of its shape. Electronics improvisation has almost always had to do with the machines and their use as if they were traditional instruments, ie 'played' in real time. Fijuu software introduces a dimension to these practices, through a physical interface which is that of the PlayStation2 gamepad. Abstract forms are to be displayed in 3D, manipulated dimanicamente. The size of the performance is complemented by the playful characterization of the gamepad while the graphics reconstructs a physical aspect of sound construction, synchronizing gestures to the transformation of objects and consequently sounds. Built by the same authors of q3apd around the game engine 'Nebula' for Linux, beat pattern sequencer, granular synthesis and a bank of filters, should be released soon as a Linux live cd, that is ready to be played on any PC after a reboot.
