07:10:02 The attack on the copyright of Groucho Marx.
The attacks of the defenders of copyright are not exclusive affair of our time. In a hilarious letter the famous comedian Groucho Marx took the piss lawyers Warner, who wanted to change the name of his new film ('A Night in Casablanca') because it was too similar to their 'Casablanca' with Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman . produced five years before (in 1942). After stating that he did not know that the city of Casablanca belonged to Warner, Groucho unloads his torrent of jokes about the unfortunate stating that the average user would be able to easily distinguish between Ingrid Bergman and Harpo his brother, and that they do not hold certain rights of Brothers (of 'Warner Brothers'), as he had brothers ('brothers', in fact) well before their society was formed, and so forth. The pressing demands of lawyers to reveal the plot of the film, Groucho responded with a first story that he was not standing, and to a second request stated that would play the role of 'Bordello', the lover of Humphrey Bogart, after which the film regularly went without legal hassles.
