The relationship between Andy Warhol and personal computers (becoming quite popular during his last years) has been only partially investigated beyond his Amiga works. I said that once some man had been calling me a lot wanting to give me one, but that I’d never called him back or something, and then the kid looked up and said, ‘Yeah, that was me. I’m Steve Jobs.’ And he looked so young, like a college guy. And he told me that he would still send me one now. And then he gave me a lesson on drawing with it. It only comes in black and white now, but they’ll make it soon in color…I felt so old and out of it with this young whiz guy right there who helped invent it.”

27.02.02 Morpheus paused waiting for Gnutella + awards at Moog and Apple.
– Morpheus, the client for the equal exchange of files, from a few days warns its users to upgrade their software even though it is no newer version available. This has resulted in a significant increase in traffic in the other networks, such as Gnutella. In an official statement, the Streamcast takes issue with Kazaa, whose new upgrade makes it incompatible with Morpheus, and promises within a few days a preview edition. This should also include an 'open protocol' network, disrupting the closed protocol, adopted so far by Kazaa, Morpheus and Grokster. Another important change is that the Gnutella Streamcast would better support in future releases. According to Download.com, Morpheus has been downloaded 51 million times, compared with 37 of Kazaa.
– The National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences has awarded this year with the technical Grammy, within the famous 'Grammy Awards', Robert Moog (pictured), for the invention of the eponymous synthesizer that has influenced contemporary music since its introduction in 1965, and Apple Computer for creating hardware and software that have substantially innovated the way of writing, mixing, recording and creatively imagine the music. Apple is the first company to be awarded a technical Grammy.
