I said that once some man had been calling me a lot wanting to give me one, but that I’d never called him back or something, and then the kid looked up and said, ‘Yeah, that was me. I’m Steve Jobs.’ And he looked so young, like a college guy. And he told me that he would still send me one now. And then he gave me a lesson on drawing with it. It only comes in black and white now, but they’ll make it soon in color…I felt so old and out of it with this young whiz guy right there who helped invent it.”

The EMI has signed an agreement with Roxio, makers of the most used programs to burn as 'Easy CD Creator' for PC and 'Toast' for Mac, in order to add the mechanisms of 'copy protection' for his records. In this way, the duplication of a CD EMI is disabled, instead activating mechanisms that facilitate the purchase of the tracks online, download after a transaction with a credit card on your computer. According to Gartner Dataquest, this year alone has sold more than 56 million computers with CD burners included, while according to International Data Corp., in the same period will be sold 5 billion of so-called virgins.
