Sometimes the online world reveals unsuspected parallel dimensions. This is an unknown restyle of Neural independently (and secretly as we never knew about it) made by NY-based Motion and Graphic Designer, Clarke Blackham. Einstuerzende Neubauten are still capable of subverting every role, every musical certainty, putting nostalgies and ancient generational stereotypes aside, with renewed blood, involving their fans in a system of open fund raising specifically devised to support this project. Care and strategy, that, if not new for this group, are surely original in the insisted structure of the pieces, built on a melodic intensity that has never been this vivid with relation to the lyrics, which reflect a strong ‘author’ dimension. Very sensitive choreography, never satisfied, that always comes back to ‘performative’ contents. It’s a ‘musical theater’ shining with masterful unions of poetry, art and contemporaneity.
