The Pate a Son, for sequencing mechanisms.

The Pate a Son

The mechanisms of the sequencing of the sounds are based on the full manipulability and stratification of the contents, modifiable by different mechanisms, with respect to a playback mechanism unique. In the Pate a Son of Le Ciel Est Bleu this mechanism is conceptually modified through a fun machine whose mechanical devices emit sounds in a circle of colored small objects. The system of pipes that conveys these objects responsible for the activation of the sounds, is constituted in turn by mechanical associable user from a vast sample and in a functional system. The connection between the elements is fundamental, and conditions, but at the same time from a different sense to the positioning of the elements, making the sequencing dependent mechanisms and not by the individual sounds. The representation of the structure is no longer 'locative', ie dependent on the position of the sounds themselves, but dynamically mechanical, ie related to the succession of activations of the kinetic mechanisms. In this sense, the system calls the attitude of analog sequencers that can change the sound by changing its mechanisms of generation, and its aesthetics from 'assembly line' drawn, is it not, a case in this regard.
